Pre & Post Season

Pre-Season Information

Each year in the early fall, there will be a Player Interest Meeting - please keep an eye on the website/calendar and the Milton Eagle Update for the date. If you have an interested player, please have them complete the Player Interest Form.

Fall Workouts are open to all those interested once they have completed their Rank One requirements including a pre-participation physical.

Schedules will be communicated to the prospective players by Coach Heusing and Milton Dugout Club emails, as well as all events posted here on the Calendar.

If you would like to be added to the Milton Dugout Club email list, please email your request to miltonbball@gmail.com

Pre-Participation Physicals and Rank One

Prospective and returning players will not be allowed to participate in any weights, conditioning, open cages, or tryouts until their forms have been completed and approved by the Athletics staff.

Please be sure to check BASEBALL as your player's sport in Rank One.

Physicals expire after one (1) year and all other forms  (insurance, concussion, personal information) need to be updated annually.

Please do not wait as there is a clearance period for administrative approval.

Documents must be submitted PRIOR to the start of tryouts.

Rank One

Click here for the Rank One website, where you can upload all required forms for participation. Even if your player has turned in paper copies to Coach Heusing, all forms MUST be uploaded to DragonFly before the player is allowed to participate in any team activities. Please see the attached document for step-by-step instructions. If your player participates in multiple sports/activities at Milton, they only need one account but please MAKE SURE TO CHECK BASEBALL AS ONE OF YOUR PLAYER'S SPORTS.

Summer Info

Milton Baseball normally hosts a Summer Camp for kids in rising grades 1-9, and asks for player volunteers to help staff the camps. Players are volunteers and we are happy to sign community service documentation for any time they participate.

There are no official workouts and/or practices conducted in the summer. Milton Baseball does not have "feeder" teams and players are encouraged to play their summer ball with their program of choice.
